The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test required for admission to any American Bar Association-approved law school. The LSAT provides a standard measure of applicants' reading and verbal reasoning skills and is thus a key factor in gaining admission to your desired institution.
According to the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), the LSAT is designed to measure skills that are considered essential for success in law school. These skills include: the reading and comprehension of complex texts; the organization and management of information and the ability to draw inferences from it; the ability to think critically; and the analysis and evaluation of the reasoning and arguments of others.
